Actor,
activist, author and New Rochelle resident Ruby Dee stopped
by her home city to receive an award from the New Rochelle
Council on the Arts. A member of the Theatre Hall of Fame
as well as the NAACP Image Award Hall of Fame, Dee was welcomed
at MacMenamin's Grill on the night of Oct. 23 to accept the
award at the group's Clay Pot Buffet.
