The Jazz Notes Collages:

For the last few years I have been actively engaged in painting - an important investigation in understanding my process and how I construct all my work. The Jazz Babies are all paintings in oil or mixed media. The focus on painting has influenced my collage process: each new collage is more visibly layered and also more painterly. I have a new series, still in progress, that has evolved from the Jazz Babies.

The Media Loft Open Studio Saturday and Sunday, December 2 and 3, 2006, 12-5 pm will be the inaugural showing for my newest works.If you are in New York the weekend of December 2nd, please stop by and visit.
