It’s all about music and rhythm. It’s about being surrounded by sound and responding visually in paper and paint. The babies are born to jazz. Some works are collage and mixed media on canvas; some works are acrylic and collage on paper.
My preference – instrumental jazz – plays on the CD and fills the studio with sound, and also fills me with emotion. The musical notes get translated visually into paper and paint collage. Just like the music, the collages are sometimes quiet and subdued, sometimes animated and vibrant.
